Three consecutive numbers have a sum of 135. What are the numbers?

    since it says consecutive, u can divide the 135 by 3 and just add and minus 1


  2. Let the numbers be x, x+1 and x+2

    x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 135

    3x + 3 = 135

    3x = 132

    x = 132/3

    x = 44

    Answer:

    44, 45, 46

    P.S.  A quicker way is to divide the number by 3.  That gives you the middle number.  135/3 = 45 --> 44, 45, 46
