Which plants do the best indoors?

I have Palms & a lovely Corn plant.They don't need to be watered often. If you take good care of plants then they all do good.

Pothos, philodendron, spider plant, kalanchoe (will bloom in a sunny window), ficus tree (diffuse light, no drafts), and sweet potato come to mind.  Pothos and kalanchoe can be propogated from cuttings (pothos will root in water, kalanchoe cuttings can be put directly in potting soil).  Spider plants have "babies" that can grow into new plants, and sweet potato plants can be grown by putting the pointed end of the potato in water, where it will root.  It grows very pretty heart-shaped leaves, and is a fun, easy-to grow houseplant.
