  1. If you have mid-high arch foot, New Balance or Saucony dominate the market for a reason.  As far as a model, go to a store that specializes in running shoes and take their advice.  Most of them will let you try it out outside or on a treadmill to get a good feel.  It is worth it!

  2. look at the pro runners then you will know what the best shoes are

  3. Nike is the best

    Asics #2

    Saucony #3

    all others are S**t

  4. it honestly depends on your foot .the best 2 brands are asics and mizuno the style varies by foot type.if you have flat feet you need a shoe that offers some support

  5. that depends on your running typw,

go to runnersneed and they will test your running method and sort you out with appropiate shoes.

  6. New Balance 992

  7. there is not a "best running shoe" persay. the best shoe is one you would feel confident in. any shoe you feel comfortable in would work. it doesn't have to be all fancy and stuff, as long as its decent. i have a pair of asics and a pair of saucony. they aren't the most expensive ones, but they work for me. just remember, as long as they fit and they feel good, it's good.

  8. I would go to a professional running store.

A few years ago, I bit the bullet and went to what I thought would be an expensive running store (it ended up not being any more expensive than a regular shoe store).

The people who work at these places are running addicts. They will ask you to walk back and forth a bunch of times to see if you pronate or intonate (walk on the inside or outside of your foot). They will probably also look at the wear pattern on your current running shoes, so bring those in.

Finally, they will ask if your knees hurt, etc.

The result is they will fit the best shoe for you - do you need extra cusioning, extra support, a bigger toe box?

Once you find the ideal shoe, you can buy your next pair online.

I did this, ended up paying $80 for a pair of high end Adidas. My knees (which used to hurt) feel great! I also run more efficiently now.
