What are the highlights of Disneyland?

I'm going tomorrow and I'd like to know what to look for. :D

the fireworks.. its awesome.. not sure how familiar u r with the disney charecters!! they are just adorable n really makes even adults feel young.. njoy ur trip!! :)

The rides that you have to go on are Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, the Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, and probably Space Mountain.  Its a Small World is classic (but annoying) but is closed until November 2008.  Indiana Jones Adventure is really fun, but since the movie is coming out at midnight tonight you should probably get a fast pass for it (near the entrance or exit of the ride's line).  

Another fun ride that isn't as well known is Big Thunder Mountain.  Also, Storybook Canal Boats is really cute and gives the story of the different Disney princes and princesses.  

The fireworks show is always amazing and the parade is fun for little kids (if you don't like parades, it is the best time to go on rides because everyone else is watching the parade).  

As far as eating, the Blue Bayou is pretty cool. It is connected to Pirates of the Caribbean and you can see it from inside the ride.  Also, if you go just outside the main entrance you can get to Downtown Disney, which has a ton of shopping and a bunch of restaurants (and is less crowded).

"Hidden Mickeys" are my favorite thing to look for

Also, being able to go to Club 33 above the Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square is something EVERYONE should be able to try at least once...but you have to either be a member, or a guest of a member.  It's quite a nice dining experience. :)

BUT, none of the highights will be available, well shows at least.

The best show there is fantasia, its abosolutely amazing and it combines almost all disney chracters ever in an amazing firworks and laser and water and proector and sound combination.
