What are those flying machines called ?

I'm plane stupid for not knowing, but am curious to know what the one man flying machines are called, and where I could find out more about them.

I need more info because there are many one seater airplanes. Are you looking for an ultralight aircraft, a glider, a gyroscope, a heli, etc.

Ultra lite, just look it up on the internet.

You mean those jet pack things?  There isn't a generic name for them, like airplanes, or helicopters.

They were made by a company called "Williams", and are called the "Williams Aeral Systems Platfrom" or "WASP".  They also came out with a "d**k tracy" style "flying garbage can" type thing, called the WASP II (back in the 1980's).
