i have seen them websites they are scary why be sucked into that mental state of life its not healthy at all. they should be torn down if we want to prevent ana or mia then we need to stop encoragement and help these [people see they can have a clear atte of mind withput them and can do this on their own by this i mean get better.

but i guess they're protected under freedom of speech.

it's something for parents to take care of.

Since anorexia is a mental disease I don't think they should be allowed. People die from anorexia and if they don't have life long issues. If you know someone who is thinking about starting you should tell a trusted adult that will get them help right away. Anorexia consumes more than your eating habits, it control your social life, family bonds, and free time. I hope that people would seek help instead of destruction.

Honestly, I don't think it's right at all. These websites give idea to girls and women (and boys and men) who are not anorexic but want to be skinny. I have seen many talk shows and heard many stories about young girls (as young as 9 years old) visiting these websites, and following the advice given on the site, only to become seriously sick.

Anorexia and bulimia are mental illnesses that need to be dealt with. These diseases can kill you, and any website that promotes that is just sick.
