What are your families names? Why did you choose those names for your kids?

Alexis Octavia-because we both liked the name Alexis but I picked it out and hubby picked out the middle name,plus I thought it was pretty

Natalie Elaine- We both LOVED Natalie and Elaine is his mom's middle name...seeing as she was sick he wanted to name our daughter after her I guess in her memory..well the old witch is still kickin today and we BOTH regret giving our daughter he middle name!

Laila Sue- Adore the name Laila(Layla) and Sue is my mom's middle name...plus it just clicks right together

We only have 2 daughters at the moment(Lexie and Natalie) and 8 months pregnant with Laila.

If we ever have a boy it will be Brian Johnathan Dean- Brian Dean is my husbands name and Johnathan is a form of my dad's name (John) he passed away this past Jan.( 08') of numeroud diabetic and heart problems and we want to name our son after him.

Patricia Ann (named after my aunt my moms youngest sister)

Cailey Marie (her middle name is after my stepmoms)

Kathryn Louise (her middle name is after my moms and grandmas)

im the only one with an official nickname...Patty or Tricia depending on my friends mood but at home im called Patty and my extended family (all my cuz aunts uncles etc) call me Patty Annie to tell me apart from my aunt lol

My son's name is Aaron Lee. We chose Aaron because my husband liked that name, and Lee because that is my husband's middle name.

I'm Isabelle Marie, husband is Jonathan Thomas, and our son's name is Lucas Matthew, but everyone calls him Luke.  I just thought Luke was a nice, wholesome-sounding name.  It seemed normal but uncommon when we named him that 2 years ago, but I think the name Luke is gaining popularity.

Lucilia Renee- Lucilia is a cute name I picked for myself in latin class and Phillip loved it when I mentioned it to him, Renee is my moms middle name.

Lenora Rosalie- After looking through L names, I saw Lenora and thought it was perfect, Rosalie is from the twilight books but I thought it flowed well though it's subject to change, she was middle-name-less for awhile.

Phillip James- Named after his dad :P

Carlisle Russel- Carlisle is also from Twilight, though I liked the name a lot when I first heard it and the reason for using it is not that it's in Twilight. Russel is his dads middle name. Carlisle was nameless for a long time, it's the only name we agreed on, but it is still subject to change.

The only ones set in stone are Lucilia and Phillip.

My dad was named after the apostles Andrew and Paul, and I'm not sure who my mom was named after.

I was named after the main character of the opera Tristan and Isolde, and the main character of the "All Creatures Great and Small" books, and my dad.

Then my dad went on a "naming after dead family members" kick: Lydia was my great grandma, and Kathleen was my late aunt who died of cancer just before she was born.

Mary because my dad converted to Catholicism and we had another relative named it.  Sophia because it was his aunt, but it's pronounced the archaic old way: sof-eye-ah, rather than the more common "sof-ee-ah."

Jarzi Lynn- We made up the name Jarzi, and we didn't just cram together a bunch of letters.  The name has a special meaning to us.  Lynn is my fiance's mother's first name, so we used it as her middle name.

Kristan Morsa- First name after my two friends, Krystan and Kristin.  We combined the spellings.  Morsa is my middle name.

me- Joyce Alanna(a-lawn-na) - Joyce is both of my grandmothers' first names. They just liked Alanna I guess.

half sis(dad)- Kalyn Joanna Rae - Joanna is our grandmother's middle name. Rae is a feminine version of my dads middle name.

half bro(mom)- Wesley Alan - Wesley was my mom's grandfather's name. Alan is a masculine version of my middle name.

half sis(dad)- Jocelynn(joss-lynn) Artemis(are-tea-miss) - Jocelynn is a mix of her grandmothers' first names, Joyce and Jaclynn.

half sis(mom)- Peyton Alexandria - Once again, no clue.

My kids names are Macie Lanae (girl)

For my daughter we just both liked it a lot.

For our son, my husband chose the name Logan, b/c his best friend died of spinal cancer 2 years ago and he wanted to name our son after him.  I thought it was a good idea!
