  9. a plaque i saw in a Chili's in Jackson Tennessee written in Spanish; it said; nunca salve para manana lo que puede comer hoy. for those who don't read spanish that translates to; Never save for tomorrow that which you can eat today. i just love it. but really the last verse of the poem THANATOPSIS says it for me. the author was William Cullen Bryan.

  14. I got this newest motto from a friend who emailed it today. It is funny and crazy that I have to share it with others.

    "'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, 'WOO HOO, What a Ride!'"

    Ok I got that out. Now for the mundane ones I generally obey in life

    From my parents/grandparents/ ancestors teachings

    -Tread softly and dont bother the sleeping dogs.

    -Pick up after yourself and dont leave rubbish

    - Always give thanks for yours and your family's blessings.

    - Whatsoever you do to the least of your brother- you do unto me

    - Take care of Mother Nature because she took care of us in the beginning and will continue till the end of time.

    - Look after one another, look after the animals in your care, and the plants and trees and the waters as well

    - Do unto others.... (you know the rest)
