What bat weight should i use?

i am 13 years old an 5 foot 1 inch. What bat weight should i use?

You should use a 29 or 30 ounce bat.

The last time my league used 20-22 ounce bats was  when I was 11. I am 13 and I used a 29 ounce bat. Most people used a 30 or 31 (I'm not too strong-ha ha) I made the jump from 22 to 29 in one year because In the league I joined you needed a -3 bat. That means if the bat is 32 inches long it is 29 ounces. For Asker- this 7 ounce jump really is nothing-I was used to it in less than a week.

It can never hurt to use a larger bat in the batting cage to help strengthen your arms.  Chipper Jones use a telephone pole to hit and he is one of the best hitters in the game.  I would use a smaller bat in game situations.
