What cage?

Question

Im gonna get a hamster and cannot decide what cage to get! Not sure if im gonna get one teddy bear or two dwarf's so one that will work for what ever i choose! Also please put the URL so that I can see the cage too!!!! Thanks!!!! =)

You should buy ahamster book Before you buy one.

The information in hamster books will let you  give you hamster a long healthy fullfilling life. (You really don't want to be a stupid pet owner and know NOTHING about your pet you supposidly "love" even though you are mis-caring for it.)

But I suggesty getting a aquarium! Buy a hamster book, don't be a dummy!

Well, you really should make up your mind on which type of hamster you are going to get before selecting the cage. I am getting a Syrian Hamster in August. I chose a bigger cage because Syrian Hamsters can grow up to 7 inches! This is the cage I got from Petsmart -http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js... this cage you NOT suit dwarf hamsters because the bars are not close enough. They would easily escape. Dwarf hamsters are better housed in solid Glass 10+ gallon Aquariums, which can be found in any pet store.  http://www.sliderinfo.com/glass-tank.jpg This would NOT  be good for a Syrian Hamster because it is way to small for them.

Different hamsters, different needs.

EDIT: the cage I got  http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js... was $39.99. It is NOT available in stores, web only so you would have to order it. Glass aquariums go for about $20 or so. cheaper, but they don't get much air ventilation at all.
