What camera to get?

Question

I'm a student, but my Mum has given me £100 to get a camera. I won't use it for anything 'professional' just taking pictures of my mates and gigs and things. Has anyone got any reccomendations of a camera for me, anything £100 or under.. I know I won't get amazing one's but which is best for my money?

the canon SD750

It's 7.1 MP which is more than enough for what you're talking about. And it's nice and compact. I throw it in my pocket all the time and it's not uncomfortable.

Last summer i bought it ... just get an "ipod sock" or somethin to protect the screen, which is scratchable, and you should love it.

It takes fantastic pictures, and has a huge 3-inch view screen. No view finder, but i'd never use it anyway with the big gorgeous LCD screen.
