I have a degree in History

what is a job that I can do that involves this, beside being a history teacher

Welcome to my world. There isn't much you can do related to history. You can enter the professional/corporate world and eventually work up to being some sort of researcher. The fact of the matter is, a history degree is practically worthless unless you are a teacher or just trying to get a B.A. as a prerequisite for a job.

Wow - a real degree in History??  I almost have a degree in English literature, but I quit school to be a carpenter.  

It's been a good life considering that I KNOW I never could have been an English teacher!  Perhaps History teacher would be more fun....
