  1. If they are just "smooshed" looking, but not broken, leave them alone -- they'll bounce back.

    If there are broken stems, or tears, trim those off neatly with a bypass pruner.


  2. My husband & I recently had a very bad windstorm in our area which did a lot of damage to some of our tomato plants.

    We staked them back up & used a bit of twine to hold them in place. They seem to be doing much better now... & they are protected from further assault by the elements.
