  1. If it is a baby it can drink KMR kitten replacement milk out of an eyedropper. If it is an adult I think it gets its water from the grass it eats.

  2. Orange soda, of course, which is found naturally in the wild in little springs. o_o

Water, of course, unless it's a baby rabbit, in which case it drinks its mothers milk (or kitten milk replacement, if it's orphaned.)

  3. Wild bunnies are very tough to keep alive, even for experienced rehabbers.  They stress easily in captivity.

Unless it's injured, you should put the bunny back where you found it immediately.  If the bunny is alert and can hop around on it's own, just set it in the same area, under a bush.  If it's eyes are closed or cannot hop, it belongs in the nest.  If you found it in a fur lined nest, please put it back in the nest.

People often think that wild bunnies in nests are abandoned, but it's not true.  Mother rabbits do not stay at the nest with the babies.  They only visit briefly to nurse the babies, and then they leave.

If the bunny was attacked by another animal, or you cannot return it to the wild, please contact a licensed wildlife rehabber.

In the US, rehabilitation is regulated by the Federal government and State DNR (Dept of Natural Resources), or Dept of Fish and Game. Services are free to the public.

There are several sites with listing of rehabbers, although the easiest way to find one is to search Yahoo! or Google for "wildlife rehabilitation" + your state (try both full and abbreviated). Also search on DNR or DFG + rehabilitation + your state.

You may be able to find a contact for a nearby rehabber through your local humane society, animal shelter, or police department.

  4. Please find a rehabilitator via attachment.  And see these additional sites for help until then
