my 4 year old son just dumped 7 yogurts that I bought for my family last night in a pot. He was making something I guess! Anyhow...... I don't want the yogurt to go to waste so Please HELP!!!!!! something yummy. Mabe it will satisfy my son's current need to create strange foods. a few days ago it was raw eggs with syrup and jam mixed in them. yes he was feeding it to my 2 year old. That is what happens when I take a shower..... no more showers for mom! :(

  1. Smoothies is a good answer, but 7 yogurts is a lot!  That might too much smoothie to drink at once.

You could try this: put the yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit and a little milk into a blender and run until smooth. You might need a little bit of sugar or honey depending on the fruit you use (raspberries for instance). Pour into a pre-made graham cracker pie crust and freeze. It makes a great low-fat frozen dessert!

Then you can drink what won't fit into the pie. =)

  2. yogurt cheese.....get some cheese cloth and tie it around the yogurt in a ball.....let it set for a day or so.....goes great on crackers.....let me see if I can find a link

  3. put some ceral in it- honey bunches of oats. i am sure your son would love that.... i would def. be careful considering the fact that he was feeding raw eggs to your 2 yr old.... at 4 he should know that he cannot mess with anything in the fridge. ask him what he would like to have in the yogurt. also put some of it in a air tight container and eat it throughout today and tomorrow. Good luck- sounds like you got a future chef on your hands!!!

  4. I wouldnt take showers while they are awake just for that reason. you can put fruit in it if there isnt and now and just leave it at that

  5. First yes take showers mom! At least when your son is asleep... //  You can make parfaits, 'yogurt pancakes' which just mix some pancake batter into the yogurt and fry them up (my brother did this when my nephew dumped the big thing of vanilla yogurt into a spaghetti pot, kind of similar to what your son did ironically...) my nephew loved the pancakes. You can also get a ice cube tray and make little yogurt ice treats, that will defiantly be yummy, especially since it's like a dessert more so when it's frozen. I wish I could come up with more off the top of my head I'll edit this if I come up with more!!

  6. http://www.allrecipes.com

enter orange yogurt bread in search field

also on this site are lots of recipes for smoothies

yogurt can be used as fruit dip too

good luck mom, it isn't always this challenging

  7. add strained canned fruit; very cherry is nice ; bite sized banana slices ; cool whip: sprinkle fruit with lemon or lime juice and some ginger  first ;   mini marshmellows   or any combination of these ;  the kids love it

  8. I would just put the yogurt in some tupperware and put it back in the fridge.  You could maybe put them in some ice trays and put sticks in them to make popsicles or put the yogurt in a pie crust and make some type of dessert.

  9. Throw it into the blender with some fresh fruit, a little juice, and a few ice cubes. Everyone loves smoothies!
