  2. from being on your feet a lot and wearing uncomfortable shoes that rub harshly againt the same part of your foot over and over again.

  3. weareing shoes without socks and running and excercizing alot hopt his helps

  4. wearing shoes that are too small, especially in the toe area. Most women wear the wrong size shoe. I wear anywhere from size 6.5 to 8.0 depending on the shoe type (ie. sneakers, sandals, heels) You want to give room around the toes so that you can actually wiggle them loosely. When you cram then in a shoe that rubs the sides of the toe, scar tissue builds and a callous develops that grows on the side of the toe. This is the bunion. They can be very painful and not real pretty, Even if you scrub them with a foot file you still end up with a large bump protruding on the side of the toe. Honestly, a slight shoe size bigger is not noticeable. Good question !!!

  5. I have bunions and I was born with them - I was born with the bones misshaped - so you shouldn't get them.  I've had surgery where they went in and broke the bone and fixed it, but my feet have grown back misshaped again :-(

  6. Its normally the tight fitting of a shoe.. or a high heel that causes it to create a bunion, its best to find a nice comfortable shoe that fits right and not wear heels too much! :]

  7. Some people are born with them...but most of the time they are caused from tight shoes, or cheap shoes.
