What causes nausea during a period? ?

What would cause someone to throw up on the first day of their period? There is no possibility of pregnancy. Thanks, G

I normally throw up the first day of my period, but it's because of excruciating pain.

Well my friend told me that this would happen to her every time she got her period. It could just be a symptom that some people have. Back when mine were severe, i used to get very sick, and felt as if i'd throw up. I thought maybe it was just the pressure from the cramps.

I guess it would be because your uterus is kinda of having a 'clear out' and if you think about it, its a potential baby being squeezed out of a tiny hole. So if you put it this way, I'd say that this would more than likely be the reason!
