What college?

i just got my sat scores back and i think i sucked...

i improved from last time:

math 740; read 480; writ 470 for 1690

this time i got 630 in math, 630 in reading, and 520 in writing for a total of 1780

what kind of college can i go to with this type of scores?

im in arizona (i think need great scores for out-of-states college because of cost or im in arizona for college)

i do plan to take this test again in october though

please help! iam so confused...

Good job with the improvement! And I have some good news for you. Your score is actually 1890. You take the top scores of ALL the sections. So you have a 740M/630R/520W.

Next time you take the exam, focus a large amount of your studying on Writing and Reading. Your math score is fine, so you don't even need to take that part of the exam really. You can just chill during that section, unless you think you can do a lot better than a 740.

You have a good enough score already to get into any Arizona state school. I'm assuming your grades and activities are pretty good. If you want to get into UCLA or Berkeley or Ivy Leagues, you will need a 2100 to be safe. Also, remember that a high SAT score can get you really good scholarships at state schools.  Hope that helps.
