What colour is unleaded petrol - the type I put in my car in the uk.

It depends on the addatives the companies add to the petrol. It could be green or a brown colour.

Petrol/Gasoline should be clear, some may have a yellowish tint, but ideally it should be clear.

Usually a yellowish brown transparent colour. Could be red if it's "red diesel" for agriculture. Get a fuel can, fill it up, look in it. If you can't see, pour a bit into a glass container.
