What could happen...?

What could happen to the Earth to make it die instantly? What if the sun fell on the Earth? What if the moon fell on the Earth?

Okay, the sun would never hit the earth and the moon wouldn't either. They are all pulling on each other with gravity and there is no plausible way that gravity can be thrown off from each other, unless Earth lost a lot of weight or something.

I'm thinking global warming would be a good answer to your question.

If the sun blew up the earth would die immediatly and we'd all go bye bye ^__^

Instantly? Tall order. The Sun or Moon can't fall to Earth, though a large enough dwarf planet colliding with the earth would do the trick. We'd have some warning though. A gamma ray burster is probably the only "possible" thing that could destroy life on earth instantly with no warning, though there are some other exotic possibilities. I've blogged on this topic actually.
