What could improve a diaper bag?

6. everything but the kitchen sink!  lol - my daughter is now 4, but it's still handy to use a diaper bag - she goes to the sitter every day and I pack extra outfits, blanket for naptime, extra underpants, socks, and some pullups for naptime, some wipes for messy face/hands when we are out or in case of any 'potty' accident, comb and hairbands, thermometer and tylenol, sunscreen, plastic bags, her jacket, her lunch bag, and anything else she wants to bring along (toys, stuffed animals, etc.)

Comments: I have a modular approach to organizing my diaper bag. I have smaller clear bags to keep different things in. When I dig through the bag, it stays pretty neat since stuff are contained in the smaller bags. Also I can see quickly that I'm low on supplies.

Let me say that I am using the 'free' vinyl diaper bag the hospital gave us.  I have a perfectly brand new still has tags diaper bag that I searched for that I never used.  It is a backpack style which I love but it is too bulky and heavy, even empty.  With all the stuff I haul around, I want the bag itself to be as lightweight as possible.
