Question:

What defines your hometown?

I spent my childhood years in one small town and my teenage years in between two nearby small towns (where my family home is still based). Both areas are suburbs of larger towns, which themselves are suburbs of London. Both areas lie within Greater London, but both have Surrey on their address. When people ask where I'm from I have no idea what to say??? So what defines a hometown?
