What do BT Call charges mean?

What do the cost mean?

For example, i have a call on my phone bill which is to an 0870 number.

Duration: 00:04:02 (I assume means 4 minutes 2 secs)

Cost: 0.260

How much is 0.260? How is it worked out?

Call charges are the cost of making the call, you are right when you assume the 4 minutes 2 secs and the cost for that was 26 pence which is about six and a half pence per minute.
