I saved a honey bee and now I find them all over the place. It is the weirdest thing but they are always around. Is this a good omen, what do they represent?

  1. a triving ecosystem.  Honey bees are vital for famers and gardeners.

  2. They are called drones (males) they are only good for one thing. The females (who are the workers) throw  them out after a time and they are left to die. Nothing mystical in this case just the girls cleaning house.---They represent fertility- productivity--also taking time to enjoy the nectar in life.

  3. Hello Diona

They represent or symbolise hard work & methodical effort, dedication.

Yes a good omen. Or a message that you need to do the above to a certain matter within your life??

  4. To me, it suggests there are bee hives nearby. And honey.

  5. Lots of honeybees is a wonderful thing, considering the recent die-offs of whole populations. Honeybees only represent themselves, or perhaps they can represent the health of our ecosystem.

  6. I don't think they represent anything.  This sounds just like the plot to the "Bee Movie."

  7. How could you have saved a bee unless they were there to begin with.  You are experiencing something called "confirmation bias".  This means that when you took initial notice of that first bee you attached significance to the event and took note of all subsequent encounters with bees.

Omens imply the ability of an inanimate object to see the future.  This doesn't happen and is not possible.

Bees represent insects that can assist pollination, create honey and sometimes sting people.

  8. The same thing happened to me with Dragonflies.  I saved one from my pool when I scooped him out with the net.   When he dried out, he flew off... now, I have a back yard full of Dragonflies and Hummingbirds.  I think simply - nature knows where it's valued.

Coincidentally - in dreams... honey bees represent the sweet rewards of being dutiful.
