  1. A few years ago, I was on a mission trip in Juarez building houses for homeless people, and someone found a stray kitten. All the adults were pretty pissed because not only is it a stray cat, but a stray cat in Mexico. They don't have the same health care for animals, so we're not even aloud to touch dogs and cats that aren't even stray. Anyways, this little thing was ridiculously skinny---we couldn't believe it was still walking. It seemed to be about 4-6 weeks old, like your kitten, but we didn't really have a lot of access to things like cat formula or a vet, so we fed it meat from a burrito (It was actually pretty funny, because it just ate the whole burrito...hungry little animal!) and gave it water. We washed it (with water and shampoo, which probably wasn't a good idea, but it got rid of the ticks!) Very soon it was fattened up, happy, healthy, and active, and we ended up giving it to a nearby family.

I don't know if that helped at all, so if not, I gave a thumbs up to some other answers. Good luck! :)

  2. First, the kitten needs to go to the vet immediately, not in a few days.  It's not healthy for you or the kitten to wait.  Wild kittens can carry diseases that can infect you or your other animals.

Second, if the kitten is truly over 4 weeks (has teeth and full use of eyes and ears) then he can eat canned kitten food mushed up with some water until he goes to the vet.

  3. A 4-week-old kitten is ready for solid food. Feed him wet kitten food or kitten kibble moistened with water (his tiny teeth won't help him chew dry kibble very well).  Do not feed him cows' milk because it won't give him the nutrients he needs and will also likely cause diarrhea.

  4. try tuna fish.

if he does not even sniff the tuna, he is too young for solid food. go to walmart or a pet store and buy a bottle and kitten milk. no cows milk.

offer him the bottle while his four paws are on the ground. he should be standing or lying down.

best to go to a shelter and have them show you how to do it.

if he can eat sold food, any meat will do. beef , poultry or pork. cook it, no seasonings. cut it into small pieces.

  5. The first link I have provided may help you narrow down the age.  The second link has a lot of information about newborn kittens, including feeding, and care.  There is even a chart of food transitions, from nursing to solids, and what type of foods to give at the various ages.

If you can get the KMR replacement milk from a pet store, and mix it with kitten chow to get a gruel, that might be a starting point.  Put some on your finger if you think that would work, and the kitten may l**k it off.

Regular cows milk will not have what the kitten needs, but the second link has a home brew formula you might be able to prepare.

Other than perhaps fleas, the kitten will be very unlikely to infect you with anything.  Wash your hands thoroughly after handling, but that is common sense with any animal.  Sure, the kitten will likely have worms and ear mites, but that is not the immediate concern right now, and can wait.  And if you have any pets, keep the kitten isolated from them.

  6. feed it milk with pieces of bread soaked in it.

  7. put some milk in a bowl and put some wet canned cat food in a bowl 2. put water out 2!

  8. Go to Walmart or any pet store and get some kitten formula and a kitten bottle. If this kitten cat lap the formula, put some in a saucer. You may also want to buy some small cans of cat food, chicken, turkey or beef. Get the ground kind, not the shredded, chopped or with gravy. Some kittens will eat small amounts at this age. Make sure that the kitten is feed at least every 4 hours and kept warm. If the kitten does not have a bowel movement by tomorrow, take a warm damp rag and rub it over the area to promote stimulation. Enjoy your new little kitten. Make sure that the kitten has a vet appointment as soon a possible.

  9. give it kitten formula not milk and buy a bottle for it and then when its a lil older give it formula in a bowl and some soft food and then a lil later hard food some soft foods rnt good for them tho it gives them diarehha

  10. Milk. But not cow milk, you need to go to a pet store and pick up kitten formula. Younger cats stomaches can not digest milk properly. Also, if you found this kitten outside you should make a vet appointment ASAP in case it has mites or worms or anything, make sure its health i in check.  If it is capable of eating it, try to feed it some wet cat food, its probably to young and its teeth too fragile to eat the hard stuff. Good luck with the new addition.

  11. Give it slightly watered down whole milk, if possible but cat food, hard food for kittens, water it down a bit. And slowly finger feed it. if you cant buy cat food cold cuts are good, Turkey, and tuna, plane tuna

  12. BREASTTTTTT

  13. Kittens eat human souls. Be sure to get fresh ones, as they spoil after only a few hours.

  14. If it's under 3 weeks, it'll need milk, but special kitten formula milk. Do not give it normal milk as most cats are lactose intolerant. Since you think it is older than that I would try to give it some wet food and see if it eats it. Make sure it's kitten formula.
