Ok, my Fiance and I are getting married next year in May. Now I know that the bride and groom have their flutes that they toast to...but what do the other guests and the bridal party toast with? I dont want to buy glass ones that are going to be expensive. I will have an average of 100 guests. Does anyone know of plastic flutes or any other ideas?? thanks!

  1. your caterer or the venue should supply them possibly for a fee.

  2. Depending on where your reception is going to be, they provide the glasses.  If not don't go out of your way.  Let them pick up the drink they have and toast with that.  It's not like there is a rule you have to toast with champagne, or whatever else you were thinking.

  3. Guests and wedding party members use regular wine or champagne glasses. Your caterer will rent those to you along with everything else you'll be getting.

    Best wishes!

  4. Usually the caterer will provide the table ware, glasses, plates etc.  Some caterers provide glass, other use plastic toasting glasses.

If your caterer does not provide these, you can buy clear plastic champagne glasses at any party store.

  5. Clear Plastic Champagne Flutes

  6. Most people toast with whatever they are already drinking. Interestingly, a large number of people do not like champagne but they will take a small sip out of obligation and leave the rest. As far as glasses, ver few people in real life actually use the special champagne flutes to toast with since they use whatever their drink they already have is served in.

  7. wine

  8. Usually the place you're having the reception at will provide champagne glasses for the toast.  If you're having it at someone's house and you want plastic ones, you can go to OrientalTrading.com
