What do tiger fish eat?

I purchased a tiger fish on Monday and it will not eat the regular Tetra fish food that I am feeding the other fish. Do they require special food or is there just something wrong with him? Thanks!

What kind of tigerfish do you have? Some get over 3 feet! If you have the african tiger fish, it needs large foods, feeder fish, shrimp, bloodworms, brineshrimp, not flake food.
