It was awesome! I just got home from vacation and had gotten very little sleep while there and also was sick. I unpacked my bags, watched the game a bit, and still felt terrible. I just went to bed to catch up on sleep, but couldn't get to bed. At midnight, I went down to get a small snack, as I though this may help. I turned on the game to see Swisher walking up to the plate. It's the 14th inning, and I decided to watch my favorite team try and win with runners on 1st and 3rd or die trying. Sure enough, SWISHER HITS A GW HOME RUN OFF FIREBALLER JOEL ZUMAYA!!!!

Dude.......one thing to say now.......GO WHITE SOX!!!

Yesssss! You can put it on the board. Look's like Dirty Thirty used both Thunder and Lightning during that at bat.

I have to say that was a dramatic come from behind victory. And, the Sox bullpen pitched relatively well for a change except for Thornton's one mistake in the 14th. Which is even sweeter since the Twins bullpen blew their game against Seattle.

It was nice to see Swisher keep his head in the game even after not getting the start. He seems to be taking the addition of KG Jr. in stride.

Heck, Konerko even got a hit which including Sunday's homerun means he's on a two game hitting streak.

Tonight's loss must really hurt if you're Tiger. They are running out of chances to play themselves back into the race.

Still lots of games to play. But, this year's Sox team continues to show that they aren't going to give up regardless of the score.

Im happy for Swish.  He have never been able to hit for average, but he always have had the power and im glad he used what he could do best to propel the Sox to the win.

Great comeback too.  Down 6-2, come back to tie it, then down 8-6 and come back again to win it in 14.

That was an amazing game. What a comeback! I never felt out of the game, except in the 14th inning. When there were 2 outs and i heard swisher was coming to bat i was like, o c**p. All due respect to swish i love him but he hasnt exactly been on fire of late. But man when i saw that bomb i screemed so loud.

To answer your question. What i think of his 3 run walk off homer in the 14th with 2 outs, i think that moments like those are the ones that make being a whitesox fan so great. That maybe we dont have the best record in baseball, but theres so much fight in those guys hearts and theres so much chemistry and with this team, even if ur facing someone like the angels, miricles CAN happen.
