for culture its the best in Scotland and maybe britain however i recommend glasgow as a bustlin city larger than edinburgh with almost equal culture much more social events a better night life and outstanding arcjhitecture but given the choice i would vist both cities in Scotland

i love my city!it has so much history,not just in old/new town etc,but all over,there is so much to see and do,one never gets bored,my only complaint is lack of decent affordable housing,those less well off are being priced off market,but apart from that,not much to complain about!

I thought it was amazing. We only stayed for 3 days but we could have spent our whole trip there.  Not only is packed with awesome history and things to see and do, but the people are so friendly.  This was our first taste of Scottish hospitality on our trip last summer and we were delighted by how laid back and friendly the Scottish people were.  I have wonderful memories from Edinburgh.

I loved Edinburgh when I visited there for New Years. It has a great pub culture, nice people, and for NYE had an awesome atmosphere!
