is california or texas a better place. please only answer if you have been to both places. mean cali i was born and raised there. now i just moved. and i am reaally ttrying to get over it. texas. yes. texas. i live near dallas texas in a city called mckinney, its not too bad, but my fam is planning to move back to cali in a bt..but where do u think is a better place to live?

and is Dowell Middle School in Mckinney a good school?

Both states are so large and diverse that you can have just about any environment that you want.

I am a country boy, so I prefer Fort Worth over Dallas.

But I love the central valley of California, where you have the big cities, but also have country living.

The biggest difference for me is the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and those huge Redwood trees.

But the biggest reason that I would rather live in California is because that is where my granddaughter lives.

To tell you the truth, you will be as happy as you are determined to be. Happiness is not in a place, it's in you.

I understand that have made friends where you are and that is very important for emotional support. But you are young and you will make new friends and build he a new base of support. Just determine to be friendly and have patience, because friendships take time to develop. So don't give up.

I have lived in both California and Texas and have family in both states. The big cities are quite similar all over the USA. They have everything you'd want and more. The Dallas area is a megalopolis, just like LA or other areas in California like the SF Bay area.
