I have a set of goblets that have elegant stemmed bases and deep decorative etchings that glint and sparkle in the light. What do you put in them to drink?

  1. Anything you want. I've seen wine, sparkling cider, iced tea, ice water, lemonade, etc all served in them.

  2. wine,mead,sherry,apple cider,or any thing drinkable

  3. Wine or apple cider.

  4. Wine but you can put anything liquid in it and drink it still.

  5. wine... or milk =] x

  6. GOBLENS

  7. If the bowl of the goblet extends nearly all the way down the stem, that would be a WATER goblet (although lemonade, ice tea could be served too) ..... RED wine is served in a BALLOON goblet, which has a very wide, round bowl and a long stem.  WHITE wine is served in a smaller bowl wineglass.  COGNAC, Sherry etc. are served in very short, round balloon shaped glasses (so you can put your hand around the bowl to warm it)

  8. Yes, a warm fruity wine.  Serve with cheese and fruit.  Think of the Middle Ages when serving.

  9. sherry

  10. Traditionally goblets are used for drinking MEAD.

  11. Wine
