What do you know about Vancouver?

I want as much information as you can give me. Keep in mind that I have obviously done TONNES of research on google.ca, and I already know plenty about Vancouver. Please try and give me some information I don't know, but would be helpful to know. I plan on moving there in a few years.

Medicare for everyone  $54.00 for one person  Hospital free  Medicine  has a deductible  based on income  monthly bus passes tax deductibles           housing cheaper in the suburbs  We live in south Burnaby  metro town area.  People are nice  Stay out of the east end  English bay area is g*y friendly Lots of work with Olympics on the way.
