  1. Wit- check C.S. Lewis and Douglas Adams for sources

  2. Hi,

Cool your going to write a book!

Okay so I always look for a book that makes some witty comments (like in the show Friends). I'm a total lover of Romance novels, but something where the girl doesn't just automatically fall for the boy..something more along the lines of them actually not liking eachother very much, but then ending up falling in love. Like the girl is also really shy, but learns to come out of her shell.

Oh and I love books that take place in the Victorian Era..

Oh and I like a great deal of drama going on (like the highly successful Gossip Girl series).

    I really hope I helped,

    and good luck!

  3. Well, obviously, something really interesting.

I usually also like books in a series; I like to know that the story continues.

    A bit mysterious...scary...thrilling. Suspense!

And humor! Definitely humor. Who doesn't love a good laugh?

Maybe a bit on the character's love life. Not too much though, it wouldn't be fair to younger kids.

I don't like realistic fiction books. I like a story if it's something out of the ordinary, something that couldn't happen in real life.

But if someone overdoes it, I find it annoying. (Example: Aliens are taking over the world)

    Not too fantasy/sci-fi.

Basically, a bit of this and a bit of that.

And if you're looking to get it published, and if it does get published, I always look for a book that has a really catching cover. Really creative and catching.

    Hope this helps!

P.S. - If a book is too long, it makes me put it down. Too short, makes me put it down...but I guess that's just me.
