Question

Okay, I know a lady who has been married for about 17 years to this man and they have a 16-yr old boy and a 14-yr old girl.

I'm friends with the daughter and she reckons her dad is having an affair. She says though he finishes work at like 17:00 hrs but he comes home at about 20:00 hrs or 21:00 hrs but on Fridays and Saturdays, he sometimes comes home at about 01:00 hrs.

We both reckon he may be having an affair but what do you think?

Should her mum be worried?

I'd check it out my dad found out about my moms affair himself NOT PRETTY maby try getting a girl he doesn't know try to flirt with him see his reaction an like film it while your hidden some were

i reckon that she stays out of her parents' business.  stay out of anyone's personal affairs unless you are asked to stick your nose in it.  you dont know their situations or what they both are willing to put up with.  i would say nothing, unless asked.  because truthfully, it's actually not her business...really.

Your friend's mother caught on to what is going on long before it dawned on you sweetie.  And she's OK with it because now she doesn't have to put out for him any more, (you'll understand when you get older).  Mind your own business.

he might be held up at the office or he just doesn't wont to go home if he and his wife don't have that relationship any more if your friend is worried then she should talk to her father,

May be he is busy at work..........if he doesn't have anything to do, he might prefer to stay in the office too.......so check that.

Well, you'll need more information, I think what you guys should do is on a saturday, you guys should follow her dad. You may not exactly be able to go exactly where he is. Wear a wig and put heavy make-up. Do anything to keep yourself from preventing to look like you. Just go near wear her dad is going. Maybe it's a dark office, maybe it's a club, or maybe even a house. If it's a house you should go up to there door, ask for money for charity or something. I did that with my friend when we went to her hosue. It turned out that he was drinking beer with his friend...
