  1. I like Christina- not sure how you'd pronounce the other one- "Amy Lee?"  Like from Evanescence?

  2. Name her Christina Amieleigh.  This way, she has a classic time-tested first name (with many great nickname options) but when you tell her that you almost named her Amieleigh and (if) she decides that's "such a cool name," you can tell her it's her middle name and if she'd like, she can go by it.

  3. Christina is the better of the two in my opinion. People would be mispronouncing and misspelling Amieleigh all her life. Two names I like are Alara (uh-law-rah) and Leah.

  4. Amieleigh

    is pretty

not sure about the spelling though

    It does not look right

    Maybe

    Amy-Leigh

    Amyleigh

I dont know but it is a beautiful name

    xx

  5. christina is lovely.

not sure how you read or say amieleigh, amy lee?

    either way im not keen.

    good luck and congratulation

  6. hmmm i always told myself that when i had a girl,i would name her Regan...or Alastrina but here are some good names 2 :)

  7. It's got to be e e e e e e..........Amieleigh! Yeah.

  8. I don't like Christina @ all! Amieleigh looks pretty but I think alot of times it will be mispelled or mispronounced.

  9. I like both of them names.

But i think you should go with Amyliegh, But spelt like that.

Its classy & a very nice name.

Its also very different and unique for your child.

  10. Christina's a great name. No, it's not old at all, if anything it's a very popular name! Christina Danielle sounds very pretty. Amieleigh, in all honesty, sounds way too much to me and very very trendy. Bad idea. Try Amy Lee or Emily instead.

  11. First of all, Congradulations, I like Amieleigh that is unique, If I ever have a baby girl I would name her either Arabelle or Ondrea. Christina is in my opinion too common, I work with about 200 women and atleast 25 of them have the name Christi and atleast 15 of them have the name Jennifer. Unique is better.

  12. I like christina but I would think about spelling it differently Kristina not to old and a bit more trendy! but the chances are when the baby is born it will look totally diff and u will end up choosing a totally diff name for her lol I know I did! good luck with the birth Gilly x

  13. Those are both beautiful names.

I thought of a name the other day which I have become quite fond of - Lilyanne.

I know it sounds a bit like Lilian but it's more pronounced in the "anne" bit.  It's very pretty and fairly unusual I think.

Good luck with the baby.  :)

  14. amieleigh is alot nicer!

It sounds beautiful and i think christina sounds a little bit more common

  15. I'm assuming Amieleigh is said Amy Lee. I think its really pretty, but you might want to simplify the spelling slightly as that could get really confusing and you don't want people calling her name out wrong in school and stuff!!!

  16. I like Christina and Amieleigh. Other names I like are Angel, Eva, Eve, Olivia, Yasmin, Amber, Sophia, Eden, Stella, Jade, Kiera, Sky, Summer, Caprice, Violet, Crystal, Macey, Madison, Vivia, Dionne, Hannah, Nadia, Harmony.

  17. Amieleigh is pretty but if i ever had a girl i would name her Lyla. It sounds soo pretty. :)

  18. I prefer Christina, is the other name is nice but I prefer the spelling Emily

  19. I like Amieleigh !!

  20. Christina, since it's a legitimate name.

Amieleigh is made up and looks horrid.

  21. Amieleigh! That is precious!

  22. Amieleigh will NEVER be spelled or pronounced correctly.  Christina is beautiful.

  23. Amieleigh...is cute

    Suggestions:

    Jeralyn

    Alannah

    Jade

    Deirdre

    Kyla

  24. My niece is named Christiana Trinity.  (My sister was pregnant with her during the three hurricanes that hit Florida, or so she says.  Personally I know for a fact she is a HUGE Matrix fan!!)

AmieLeigh is unusual but I have to agree, she will go through life with people mispronouncing her name.

Before you settle totally on one name, make sure you know the initials and nicknames she will be given.  My daughter was born Brianna.  Everyone said Brian-nuh.  And her initials were BS.  So I legally changed her name to Victoria Elizabeth.  That gave her plenty of options for names.  She goes by Tori but she can also be Vickie, Lizzy, Eliza, Beth...etc.

Congrats on the soon to be baby!

  25. i like amieleigh. that is very original. i don't know anyone with that name. i also like piper and zoey

  26. Neither.  Ameileigh sounds like you're trying t be original, but it just sounds chavvish.

  27. Go with Christina.  I don't think of it as being an old name at all.  I think of Christine and as old but Christina as a very modern name.

If you do go for Amieleigh please have it like this instead Amy-Leigh or at least not all together as that looks made up.

  28. i like christina, but amieleigh is very original, and in these days there are'nt many orignal names out there.

  29. Amieleigh Cassidy,
