I agree, except for the last bit. I'd never forget someone I'ved loved, truly loved before. Even after 20 odd years, I still think of my first puppy love with fondness.

But it does seem to take a lifetime to not feel the pain of lost love.

I don't think we can put any time frame on when to have a crush or when to fall in love... love comes so naturally. it should never be confined to a time limit , else it would lose the "magical" feeling of being  in love.

not always true. these are all emotions and feelings... and when you're talking about emotions and feelings, these are subjective. each person has different and distinctive way of handling it.
