What does 'oikakete' mean?

    = oikakeru + soshite

    = chase someone/something and ~

    you absolutely need 'and' as well.

  3. It's like the people here have said.

    But you also hear it a lot in pop songs where it can also mean "aim for a goal" or "keep trying to reach your dream".  Like "yume wo oikakete".
