What does Que mean??

I know no spanish :[....so I feel stupid asking but people say it all the time..what does it mean?

I think the way it's used it means "how mean",but it literally means "what mean".

Actually, though the context makes it mean "what" when translated into English, I believe it means "How"...or wait...maybe I'm thinking of "como".

The first three answers were not quite right.  With no accent "que" means "that."  With an accent over the "e," "que" does indeed mean "what."
