What does a domestic assistant do?

in a residential home for people with mental health issues?

mostly cleaning after the people,,perhaps bringing them cups of tea and a sandwich,,but mostly having the time of day for them when they want to chat and want some company,,its very rewarding work,,,I'm told so by my sister,,especially when they laugh and smile with you.x
