  1. They call them sandwich artists when all they really do is make sandwiches. Like in a health place, subway etc. They just add the stuff then make it and cut it.

  2. They work at Subway.

  3. Work at subway and they get paid like 6-8 bux an hour. Its not a great job , its like working at mc'd just without all the grease and fries

  4. I used to be one...

Basically, they make sandwiches, bake bread, prepare sandwich set-ups (meats) for sandwiches, cut and slice produce for sandwiches, refill the dressing containers, clean the store, handle cash and wash and clean the results of all of this activity.

The pay isn't that great, from what I remember. Probably a little above minimum. If you work for a store that does a brisk business and has a good owner (Subways are a franchise), then you might make more.

    Hope this helps!

  5. they make a smily-face looking sandwich

you can get much information in this website, kindly stay a minute in website and check anyone link at a time, and you can aslo get your question answer in Google Search in this website, which has already helped me very much.

  7. If you're talking about Subway or fast food joints of that ilk well basically you tell the "SANDWICH ARTIST" what you want on your sub sandwich and they do it in a bored, don't want to be there, half-**sed, sloppy manner. They do not get paid well and most likely thinking about smoking a joint or what they'll do after they clock out.

  8. All they do is make sandwiches in restaurants.  It's just a fancy term for food service worker.  Kind of like the "barristas" at Starbucks.  All they do is serve coffee it just sounds fancy.

  9. They put together sandwiches and get paid min. wage. It's a fast food job, you can't expect it to pay well.

Calling a fast food worker a "sandwich artist" is just as ridiculous as calling my profession (nurse) a drug dealer.

...Whatever fancy title makes them feel better about them self and gets them through the day works for me.

  10. Make sandwiches at Subway. Thats what they call their team members! Sounds silly huh?

  11. good Q

  12. I worked at a schlotzsky's when I was younger and we had to watch a 45 minute video on how they wanted their sandwiches set up.  We had to stack the sandwiches so that every bite of the sandwich had the same amount of meat in each bite taken.  We also had to learn just how to put the sauces on just right.  I guess that when you learned the method you got a certificate stating that you were a certified sandwich artist. Bon appetite!
