What does a visor help do??

is it just to keep grass out of ur eyes?? and what does the different colors do?

sun light and defesive face mask penalties and you wont get poked in the eye whle bieng tackled.

It can also protect your eyes and face-many players wear them if they just broke their nose or got poked in the eye, for example.

pretty much all the visors are used to keep other players fingers and hands out of there so there is no gouging of the eyes.  the darker ones are clearly used for sunlight, and the other ones like maybe the orange ones i've seen are probably for show.

yea. i guy on my team has a prescription visor. and another one just has a black one to look cool. and i guess to keep the sun out of your eyes. but ive never had a problem with grass gettin in my eyes
