  1. It means i'll copy that(of what u said), and put it in brain(then let the brain tell you, what to do, as according to the message received)

  2. It just means that the person has heard what has been said and understands.

  3. It is a bit old fashioned now, but it means "I have received your message".  It dates back to the early days of radio transmission, when messages had to be copied down in writing.

  4. Copy or copy that simply means, message received and understood.  The military simply say, 'roger', which means the same thing as copy that or received and understood.

    You copy?

In the States as well as here in UK, the Fuzz have their own code words or phrases to mean certain things.

For example.  In the 1950s US TV series, "Highway Patrol", starring Brodrick Crawford, instead of saying copy that when a message was received, the Highway Patrol used the phrase, Ten Four.

    So you can say:

    COPY

    ROGER

    or

    TEN FOUR

we all know what they mean - most of the time...

  5. It means I understand the message. or i got the message.
