  1. Back in the old days, each McDonaldLand character (except for Ronald) represented a different food.  There were the Fry Guys, Captain Crook (for Filet O'Fish), Hamburglar for hamburgers, Early Bird for breakfast items -

    Mayor McCheese for the Cheeseburger, and there was a policeman named Big Mac - an Irish fellow, I guess.

    Grimace stood for McDonald's shakes, I think.  Which makes sense when you consider his shape.  Also, each year at St. Patrick's Day, McDonald's would serve green Shamrock Shakes, and Grimace's relative Uncle O'Grimacy would be featured in the TV ads to promote the shakes.

    Anyone under the age of 25 probably thinks I'm crazy or high...
