What does his tattoo mean?

My son's father/fiancee has a tattoo of a red spider on the inside of his right wrist. I ask him what does it mean and he wont tell me! Did he kill somebody or is he just f*cking with me?? Somebody tell me something

now if you see a TEARDROP* on the face that means they killed sumbody, so then thatll be a problem but i know alot about tats n that means nothing

There was a character in a Chinese Kung Fu movie (don't know the name) who was from the White Lotus Clan who had a red spider tattoo on his hand. Could it just be an imitation of that?  Have you actually told him what you are worried about? If he really loves you, he should be prepared to tell you and put your mind at ease.

Maybe he doesn't want to tell you because he thinks it makes him seem more interesting and mysterious? I'm inclined to think that if he had really killed someone, he would lie and just say he got the tattoo because he thought it looked cool.

it means what ever it means to him

we don't know what's in his head or heart to tell you why he got it or what it means to him.

i am assuming he got it before you all got together. so maybe it was something he regrets and doesn't want you to know- maybe it was a drunken bet with an ex, or dare from friends, or he was really pi$$ed at someone and got it done

really in the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal and you shouldn't dwell on it

It could mean a lot or nothing at all. It's an art form, so people accept and view it from various perspectives. I think you should find a way to make him say.

Who knows? No one on here can tell you for sure. He knows why he got it, no one else. Sometimes spiders mean you killed someone, but my boyfriend's dad has a spider/web tattoo and he just got it because it looks cool. It's really a personal thing, he may have gotten it for a personal reason, a gang related reason, or just for the look of it. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I dont know what it means, it could mean nothing. I do know though that if he killed someone he would have a tear drop on his cheek for every person he killed. Thats what you would normally get if youve killed someone.

Looking around, it appears that there could be many reasons why the tattoo was chosen. But, whatever the reason, no one else is going to have the slightest idea what it means, unless there is some gang still close by that uses it, a prison inmate that remembers him, a club that he belonged to that still meets, or some computer game that he copied  something because of some level that he reached.

Or he just liked it when he saw the flash at the tattoo shop. Or he had a pet red spider as a child, or he just plain thought it was 'cool'.

There's a lot of spider tattoos out there.
