ever since i can remember i've had this recurring dream. i get it probably every month or so. Its really weird and i don't quite know what it is. its not scary as such but its certainly not a pleasent experience. more than anything its a feeling of hopelessness or impossibility like i'm doomed or my fate is sealed but then it goes full circle or something and everything is ok again but then it starts again. i can see something like a huge silver sphere but its not shiny, more grey maybe. i think maybe its a dead star or planet. anyone any ideas? i know thats not very helpful but the dream really is mostly emotion, the image, there's only that one, is hard to explain because i've never seen anything like it before. please help!!!!

  1. everything in life goes full circle and then starts over. it is nothing to be afraid of. when things go full circlel and starts over you need to do the same but at that point you need also to make changes in yourself. you cannot and should not ever attempt to remain the same. the feelings of hopelessness and and impossibility is there because you fighting the changes in your life instead of gently letting go of them. no ones fate is ever sealed. no one is ever doomed. those feelings are there tp let you know that you are fighting what has to occur. it occurs to all of nature and you yourself are part of that nature. the sphere is only in your mind. it does not exist any where else. you need to let go of it. the next time you see it mentally see yourself letting it go. it is ithere because you need to see something to hold on to spirituallyamd emotionally.

  2. Not knowing more about your circumstances but noting that the dream has recurred for so long it seems to be a reflection of depression.

I realize that probably seems pretty depressing to get for an answer - but the feelings you describe go with a cycle of depression.  That it goes 'full circle' could be a normal up and down emotion, but that it hits this recurrent pattern suggests a rather entrenched thing.

Try to notice whether there is any particular thought or theme to dreaming prior to the event - you may be able to associate the feeling with something in your life.  If so, perhaps you can remove it or deal with it in a positive way that helps.

The vague, 'grey' orb seems like something of 'nothingness' - no direction, no definition - almost like a 'fogball'.  It could represent confusion - and you could be overwhelmed by things at times and feel a lack of focus.  That can be depressing and manifest as you've described as the mind vents the feelings nocturnally.

If you have waking depression that is persistent you need to get help with it.  That can be treated and there's no shame in doing so - only a shame in trying to live with something that can be very debilitating.

Take a look inside your life to see if you can find whatever may lead you to the feelings you have in this dream.  If you can find it and deal with it then you may clear this up.  But again - you may need some help.  This sounds rather protracted and persistent.

    All the best to you.

  3. dreams are the communication between our physical and emotional...... better put as our conscious and subconscious mind......

the fact that your dream is emotional i would say...... you are disturbed about something ... but your nature reassures you all will be ok.....

the lack of physical insight in this dream could only mean....... in your own life. it is an unknown fear of something.....

the fact it reoccurs is your mind telling you of a need to act....

the best advice i could give is to.... face your fears as of late....

if your own mind is any predictor of events..... you should feel reassured things will turn out fine in the end.
