What does "carpool" mean?

It just means to have more than 1 person in the car, like for example, if you live close to your workmates, you can go pick them up and take them to work with you and drive them home again and then they will do the same for you next week. In some cities (im in Sydney and we have it) there are special lanes for carpoolers, the lanes have like T2 on them, meaning any car with 2 or more people in it can travel in that lane. Its a good idea, and its great for the environment and boosts workplace relationships (if your carpooling your work mates).
