What does "down to earth" mean?

Just wondering... what does it mean when someone says a person is

"down to earth"? Does it mean they are logical, don't get caught up in drama, level headed, etc?

not full of yourself. if your really rich but down to earth it means you don't act super rich and you don't treat anyone differently because you are "better than them"!

The phrase contrasts with "Head in the clouds."  A practical person (with their "feet on the ground") as opposed to an idealistic  dreamer.
