What does "valid through" mean?

I have a coupon but it says its only valid through July 30, 2008. Does that mean its already expired or July 30 was the first date it could have been used? I know the question sounds stupid but I need some help. Thanks!

Good until, including the day the coupon is valid through.

It means that it expired on July 30, 2008

"valid through" means the same as "good until".  July 30th was the last day you could've used the coupon. So, yes....it's expired.  (by the way...no question is every 'stupid'...asking is how we learn)
