  1. It is the currency which one purchases,earns, secures & validates, ones own Liberty. It is the loftiest example that one sets to secure the Liberty for others.

    Without personal responsibility, Free Choice, Free Speech, etc would be meaningless, futile, & pretentious.

    Responsibility is an action and as such is a state of being. It indicates emotional maturity.

    Responsibility means taking heat as well as praise for your actions.

  11. Your posed question is unfair. Responsibility cannot exist without authority, and vice versa - they must be paired in equal measure for any function to work sustainably. You cannot be given responsibility without having authority over what what you  have responsibility for, and if you have the authority, you must have the responsibility for what you have the authority over.
