What does sell by aug07.

hi,

i purchased today few bakery from bjs(cosco).it was marked as sell by 07aug.No expiry date mentioned.

What does sell by means..........

It means today was the last day they could sell the item.

It will be fresh for several more days, depending on how careful you are to keep it wrapped and/or refrigerated.

"Sell by" is not "use by".

Sell By is for the shop who are selling the items. They keep a date by which they want the product to be sold or they return it back.

The item remain for a couple of weeks if it is a dairy items i can tell you this by my experience.

you should probably consume them today or tomorrow to prevent spoilage.
